Your conversion

Loading latest rate…

Rates are indicative reference rates and may differ from banks, card providers, money-transfer services or tradable forex bid/ask prices.

How the currency converter works

Money Formula Lab automatically requests the latest available reference rate for your selected currency pair and multiplies the amount by that rate.

Converted Amount = Original Amount × Exchange Rate

About the rates

The converter uses exchange-rate data from Frankfurter, which aggregates rates from central banks and official sources. These rates are intended for general currency conversion and estimation rather than intraday trading execution.

Worked example

If the latest GBP/USD reference rate is 1.35, then £1,000 converts to approximately $1,350 before any provider fees or exchange-rate spread.

Frequently asked questions

Are the exchange rates automatic?

Yes. The page requests the latest available rate automatically when it loads and whenever you change the selected currencies.

Are these real-time forex trading prices?

No. These are reference exchange rates. Tradable forex prices can move throughout the day and normally include bid and ask prices or spreads.

Why might my bank give me a different conversion?

Banks, cards and transfer services can apply their own exchange rate, spread and fees, so the final amount may differ.
